Yunnan Yuntianhua International Chemical Co., Ltd. (Yuntianhua International in short), is a shares-holding subsidiary of Yuntianhua Group. In accordance with the general requirements of Yunnan CPC Provincial Committee and Provincial Government that to advance and develop the first-class enterprises in China and even in the world, Yuntianhua Group reorganized its five large manufacturers of phosphate and compound fertilizers as one joint-stock company which is called Yuntianhua International. The five manufacturers are Yunnan Furui Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., Yunnan Three Circles Chemical Co., Ltd., Yunnan Honglin Chemical Co., Ltd., Yunnan Jiangchuan Tainhu Chemical Co., Ltd. and Yunnan Yunfeng Chemical Industry Co., Ltd.
Yuntianhua International is jointly invested by seven shareholders which are Yuntianhua Group Co., Ltd., Yunnan Jianglin Goup Co., Ltd., Yunnan Provincial Development Investment Co., Ltd., Yunnan Provincial State-Assets Operation Co., Ltd., Yunnan Copper (Group) Co., Ltd., Yunnan Metallurgy Group and Yunnan Jinxing Chemical Co., Ltd.
After the reorganization, Yuntianhua International enjoys total assets of RMB 11.6 billion and net assets of RMB 2.6 billion with an annual producing capacity of RMB 51 million tons of high-concentration phosphate compound fertilizers which ranks first both in China and Asia and second in the world, and with a sales income of more than RMB 10 billion by the end of 2007. The company has become a domestically first-class and internationally renowned large phosphorus chemical enterprise with a big scale of production capacity for high-concentration phosphate fertilizers and special compound fertilizer.
During the 11th ˇ°Five-Year Planˇ± period, under the guiding principle of the industrial developing strategy that ˇ°take fertilizers as the mainstay and develop interrelated industryˇ±, focusing on the priority to enhance enterprise competitiveness, Yuntianhua International will strive and serve for Three Agriculture. The target the total phosphate fertilizers output is to reach RMB 10 million tons by 2010. Technical transformation, project construction, capital operation and brand management will together work for improving of the enterprise competitiveness. Thus, an industrial platform with the competitive advantages of scale will be formed on the international markets and Yuntianhua International will become one of the largest producers of high-concentration phosphate compound fertilizers in the world.
